In my career I’ve been blessed to interview many notable and prominent people. Between chaotic work schedules, whatever is going on in their personal lives, and publicists who just love to say “No,” it is always an adventure to secure big names to sit down for an on-camera interview. But when it came to Garry Marshall, we had the easiest time booking incredible talent to participate in the film as Garry was truly beloved beyond measure. So beloved that virtually no one got through their interview without doing an impression of Garry's distinct way of speaking. We edited a reel of everyone from Julie Andrews and Anne Hathaway to Rob Lowe and Chris Pine 'doing Garry' - and it presents as a uniquely warm and special tribute to this very special man.
